Here are some tips to know when they are shams!
1. If someone says they have betas on trade and they are member items it is definitely a scam as in the beta times membership did not exist.
2. When people say they are poor look at they're profile go to theyre den if it's unlocked look inside and see what they own but some might be clever and chuck it all in storage.
Avoiding Hacking
1. Keep your den locked if you have valuable so hackers don't know what you have.
2. Don't accept random buddy requests.
3. Warn buddies about it.
4. If a hacker is about or you suspect go to your den lock it and take online buddies for company.
5. Most wolves, black and top hats are the hackers and in Jamaa Township on the bridge to the right is where scammers and hackers prowl mostly as they can be seen easily.
6. Don't wear rares in slightly crowded public you can sondier of it's is packed as you can slink in with the crowds.
7. This is the MOST IMPORTANT. Never ever ever give anyone your password even how tempting it is to get a rare it is not just a scam but a hacker!

oh and another one? theres this website i found that says you czn go into beta if you give your user or pass, thats a hack. i dont know who made it but whoever did is extremely creul. oh and im against AJ hacks because its not right, you can get banned, and they person will be able to take anything they want. be sure to keep some rares on a storage account and dont wear them on it (thats only when there are hackers online) oh and the site thing? again i have no idea who made it but its definately not me.
